Fertilizer is to plants what vitamins are to humans. In fact, some ingredients in fertilizer, like iron, are found in vitamins. Like people, plants need a balanced diet to flourish and grow healthy and strong. But all fertilizers are not created equal. Simply spreading a bag of "weed and feed "across your yard does not guarantee a great lawn. Each type of fertilizer contains different ingredients, and each of these ingredients has a unique effect on your grass.

Nitrogen - Promotes vigorous growth, a dark green color and fall density.
Phosphorous - Improves germination, strengthens stems, promotes root growth in new seed, and provides tolerance against extreme temperatures and drought conditions.
Potassium (potash) - Promotes plant vigor and disease resistance.
Iron - Gives grass strength & vibrant green color.
Sulfur - Helps with disease resistance.
Calcium - Essential plant nutrient. Activates beneficial soil microbes and helps plant absorb other components.

Applied between March and April, this application will gently wake up your lawn without causing excessive top growth (which can cause disease problems and reduced drought tolerance). This application will also deliver .36 pounds of Slow Release Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Sulphate of Potash per 1000 sq. ft. (Potash improves stress tolerance and overall turfgrass vigor). Dimension provides superior, long lasting, high percentage control of crabgrass, as well as many other annual weeds.
This is a new product that will deliver results applied even in June. Dimension will control emerging crabgrass and prevent any further germination used at the rate delivered by this product. . Use this product when seeding on the spring or if you have not applied crabgrass preventer before May 1.

Applied in the Summer or as a starter fertilizer, this product will provide an immediate source of nitrogen with the superior form of slow release nitrogen ( Meth X 40) that will continue to feed your lawn gently for up to 16 weeks. The iron and sulfur components will provide quick green up during drought like conditions. The Potash source is Sulfate of Potash chosen for its low burn potential.

Applied in late summer/early fall, this product will deliver one pound of nitrogen per 1000 sq. ft. At this time of the year, turfgrass requires a larger amount of nitrogen to encourage recovery from the stress of the summer and to help thicken the lawn before winter.
